Alastriona is an elf, yet is 26 years old; how does she age?
- It is because she is an elf, and yet not an elf. She ages normally, like a human in other words. In their world/dimension, elves are a little different. They are technically humans, just born with pointy ears. I have not figured out why this occurs, but I am thinking that as the Earth ages/evolves, so did humans, including them polluting it more. At some point in time, the pollution altered elves DNA etc., making them age like humans now. This does not mean that all elves age like a human. There will still be some elves that age slowly/their 'normal' growth, but as time goes by, the amount of elves that can/does that naturally is decreasing. Maybe one day in the future, elves will be no more (or at least the pointy ears aspect). Or, science will be used to alter their DNA structure to 'make them age slowly' again.
What exact time-period do they live in?
- The exact time period is open/debatable. The only thing I would ask is that it has some form of technology to it. I like medieval times, but not that much due to some things that are just plain gross in that time period, and I just like technology in general.
What creatures/monsters etc exist in their world?
- Similar to Z's answer/question page. Mostly the typical ones famous in various medias; werewolves, trolls, ghosts, etc., although I am a little iffy with vampires. Not just because of Twilight, but I honestly just do not really like vampires that much.
What is their day like?

What is the point of Xintao wearing a long scarf?
Does their team have a name? A logo?
- Their day barely varies. It depends what they are doing or going to do. She creates a draft plan on the potential place(s)/area(s) they plan to rob/steal from. They both navigate/scale out the place as much as they can. She readjusts the plan(s) as needed, while he starts to create any needed technology for the heist. In addition, they will practice anything that they need to (on what to do/say etc.). They scale out the place once more (but not as closely as previously, to prevent being caught). She makes the final adjustments to their plan, and he tests out the technology (if created/needed) for that plan. They do a 'last minute' breakdown of the plan and what they do etc. Finally, they put their plan into action. As a note, their heist may not happen the next day or even the same week. They may wait a few days before doing it, this is for various reasons; making sure that there is not a 'watch list' on them (from their 'surveillance' of the place), security/patrol plans change made at the last moment by their target, they're called or 'hired' by others to steal something within the same week/day etc. Between those days of them waiting, they will do what they normally do; her attending/creating a garden, reading, playing with their pet(s) etc. They will do their best to relax before their big mission.
- Their day is a little different if they are 'hired', or they find an 'ad' (Black market or some other underground form), for a mission. In these cases, their mission is what they do best; steal something. These type of 'missions' are usually them stealing something of value, not something that is cheap or, in some cases, meant to be shared among the masses (let's say for example famous documents in a museum). Their day will be similar to what I wrote in the previous paragraph, except that they might have to meet their 'client' in person, or even travel a great distance to steal a certain object. In the case of them traveling, either their client pays for their accommodations, or they have to find their own. If they are traveling, they cannot take their whole 'lab' (their gear) with them. They will have to leave a few or more behind. So they will take what they think they need, and if needed, create others at their destination (either buy parts or go through the dump). If they are away from home, they may leave one or both of their pets to guard the place.
What type of currency do they use?
Barter system?
- I'm going to go with the same answer as I wrote for Hanako and Hachirou. A barter system exists, but is rarely used except for rare occasions (trading a expensive item for another if money is not wanted and possibly between poor individuals). Gold/silver etc. coins are used mostly to buy things. Although, if they are thrown in a crossover universe, let's say Pokemon for this example (their original pixel form shows their Pokemon and is mentioned in their charahub profile), whatever currency used there will be the same one that they use. In their case when they are paid, it will be 'under the table', basically pure/money form.
Who is the leader of the team?
- It's shared among them really. There will be times that Alastriona takes charge and vice-versa with Xintao.
Concerning Alastriona, she seems to be wearing battle-like/samurai clothing, was she a solider or something similar before becoming a thief?
- Her back-story has not been created yet, but yes, she does have some military or something similar training. Before she became a thief, and exiled from her elven homeland, her job was to protect/be a bodyguard for one of the royal family members. Since she is a thief now, obviously, she had failed that duty. Instead of her being killed for failing her duty or even being told to commit 'suicide' (Seppuku or Harakiri), she was granted 'mercy' to be exiled instead and with only the clothes on her back (her weapon she managed to bring out too, as that is valuable for a reason). Her rank was high, and she had respect etc. There is a small possibility that she was having or tried to have a relationship with a elf man of a similar status or within the same 'guard duty' (possibly the one that let her 'live' or 'gave her her sword' before she was exiled). This/these idea(s) is not set in stone though, but it is a draft.
- Since she dresses like a Samurai, it would make sense to use or think of the same/similar status/structure for her rank and all.
How did they meet their pets?
- Another idea not set in stone, but they had met their pets before they, the OCs, met each other. They were most likely doing a mission and they found them during the mission.
What is the point of Xintao wearing a long scarf?
- It's a design? Not really. It can be used as a last minute item, rope. Other uses it can have is getting things that are a little bit far from them (making a graveling hook for instance). It can also hide extra small tools they need, used to bundle something up etc. And if course it keeps him warm during the winters. And I will admit, it just looks good too.
- Despite his attire, he is not a ninja, though I can see how he can be mistaken as one. Though, the agility of a ninja would be similar in him.
- In addition, their is a belt that has a jewel in the middle that he is wearing (hard to see). I do not know the use of it right now, but I intend for it to be used similar to something that Batman uses; holds tools etc.
Does their team have a name? A logo?
- No they do not, for either question. They are thieves that are trying to remain hidden, not advertise their skills etc. If they need to be hired for a job/mission, the good thieves/clients will be able to find them or at least know how to communicate with them.
