What type of dances does Z know/do?
- I don't want to pick only one type because she doesn't mind learning others. Instead, it is whatever fits the setting would be fine. She either knows how to do it, or she doesn't and will learn it.
What exact time-period does Z live in?
- The exact time period is open/debatable. The only thing I would ask is that it has some form of technology to it. I like medieval times, but not that much due to some things that are just plain gross in that time period, and I just like technology in general.
What creatures/monsters etc exist in her world?
Are any 'original', created by you?
- Mostly the typical ones famous in various medias; werewolves, trolls, ghosts, etc., although I am a little iffy with vampires. Not just because of Twilight, but I honestly just do not really like vampires that much. The only creature, if I can even call it that, that I have created that may or may not be original is this:
That creature is like a janitor. It's pretty much a large 'dust bunny', except it cleans up the dust etc. They form from the smoke/fog that you can see gathered around their 'legs', and the smoke kind of keeps twirling to keep them alive or in that full form and all. The one shown above is female, and the male counterpart would look no different, excluding that he will not be wearing a bra. I have not decided if they should speak or not, but I'm leaning more on the idea of them not speaking at all. Just going about their business. Despite their large and black creepy-like eyes, they are gentle creatures and prefer to not be confronted and/or get into any sort of trouble if possible. If they feel threaten, they will just 'disappear', which really means their smoke will engulf them and they 'shrink' or spread like fog, possibly becoming large or somewhat large puff dust bunnies/balls. That's pretty much it about them. I am still thinking about their 'final'design or look, but that is the basis of it for now. May change their looks slightly later.

What is her day like?
- Her day various depending on where she is. If she is at her elven home, it's mostly her relaxing and patrolling the forest/mountain area when asked to or when it is 'her turn'. Since she is a volunteer and all, she doesn't get paid, but she takes it just as seriously as a/her paying job. Sometimes while she is patrolling the forest, she bumps into those that are lost in the woods and she will guide them to the correct path (though she is careful to make sure that they are not thieves/terrorist etc.). While enemies are more likely to be watched out for, others cannot be near their home or territory unless they are a elf themselves. I guess I am keeping the 'typical elf' behavior with non-elves not welcomed and such, unless they have permission to be there. So, her day can be 'boring' and typical, or, if danger occurs, it can be dangerous and exciting.
- Her day is different in the city/town. She wakes up in the morning, gets ready etc. Then she takes a cab/bus or whatever type of transportation she is in the mood for that day, to her job-site, some unknown/unnamed detective agency, where she works with 4(?) others. I still have no concrete idea on who they are at this moment. So you can easily say/do/imagine that she gets an assignment or something while at home and she's on her own. I don't know, just throwing it out there till those 4 characters are created. Depending on the case, if she has one, she can be going around interviewing/questioning witnesses, asking for input from Baine [2] (if a certain weapon was involved) etc. She pretty much keeps herself busy with the case, and if it's a serious one, she will not attend her night-job. This is because she wants to put the bad guy behind bars as soon as she can. Although, if she seems obsessed with the case, she would do her night job just to get mind off of it, since she dances and enjoys doing it (makes her relax and all). If it's a slow day, where she has to do paperwork mostly for instance, then she will most likely do her night job.
- Speaking of her night job, she does not do 'private dances'; way too many bad events can happen in that type of situation. Although, if it's a romance story, then I guess I'll consider it if it's the guy she is supposed to have a romance with. In addition to that, as mentioned on her charahub profile, just because she is a dancer and/or a singer at a tavern (think of classy/laid back 'Jazz Club' atmosphere), that DOES NOT mean that she is a prostitute or any other title/'fancy name' that means the same thing or even close to that. That is a very inaccurate view of her. This is not her backstory either or related to it. This is why I wrote that she does not do 'private' dances for anyone (this can lead to all kinds of stories I am not really into), because I already knew that she might be viewed that way by a few individuals. Please know that such a view of her is very inaccurate. If you would like a better idea, imagine something like a Jazz Club...although I have never been to one myself, when I think of one, I do think of the singer on the stage, just now imagine that singer dances too.
- When she has breaks, she will try to go shopping (I guess something else she loves a little), walking through the parks, which would be the closest to her forest home while in the city/town, and hanging out with the gang from the agency/other characters. Haven't thought of a best friend for her yet, but that can be made up for her for the time being if need be/if wanted.
What type of currency does she use?
Barter system?
- I'm going to go with the same answer as I wrote for Hanako and Hachirou. A barter system exists, but is rarely used except for rare occasions (trading a expensive item for another if money is not wanted and possibly between poor individuals). Gold/silver etc. coins are used mostly to buy things. Although, if she is thrown in a crossover universe, let's say Phoenix Wright for this example (I can see her honestly working well with Detective Gumshoe), whatever currency used there will be the same one that she uses. In Z's case when she is paid, think of the typical paycheck form; paper check that she has to hand in to a bank/monetary business to get the coin form. That involves her day job, while her night job is based on tips from customers and her patrolling one is volunteer, although gifts may be given.
Since she works with others, a team, is she the leader of the team?
- She is not the 'leader leader' of the team. Although, if the leader is absent or not present (or even asked to be at times) she is 'second in command' as I would put it. The leader of the team, while non-existant at this time, trusts her judgment and skills tremendously. Due to her nature/personality, he (yes, the leader will most likely be a male) thinks she is best to lead the team at times. Although, Z sees them all equally, as a entity working together, like a whole body. Without certain parts of the body, it will not work correctly/completely. She treats everyone equally (maybe except one due to his nature, not sure at this time), acknowledges their skills, and uses them whenever possible. While she does have a little science knowledge for lab purposes, she does not do that type of work, she leaves that up to the robot (yes, I am thinking about one of her team mates being a robot).
What does she do if she is not patrolling the woods?
Since it is a 'secret place', isn't it like a vacation?
- It is a vacation, truthfully, a secret retreat. She attends or goes to the 'secret place' when she needs to relax or due to the high stress of her detective job, or just even missing her elven home. One of her patrol areas is to guard the entrance area, others are 'normal', like scouting the woods etc. If she is not patrolling, she is teaching other future young patrolman elves how to patrol, basic first aid skills, survival tactics etc. Similar to a forest ranger. She is not paid for this either, although, for her services, they do give her free 'room and board' there (AKA, take care of her elven home and other services) and willing to pay for a vacation spot/area of her choice outside of their own home (as long as it is reasonable, not overly expensive). She does other things if she is not teaching, such as reading, practicing knitting/sewing, playing the panpipes, checking up with her team mates (writing them, technology is a little 'low'/advanced on the elven side and to prevent others from finding their home easily and/or their own technology leaking out, mail she receives will be sent to the nearest human village/town to a PO Box), napping etc.
How did she meet Lucky, her cat?
What makes him special that she always, or seems to, carry him everywhere?
- Well, you know what they say...a lonely woman always has a cat. xD I'm joking!
- Anyway, the exact idea hasn't been completely thought out, but she met Lucky by chance, and luck was with her that day. I'm taking a little of the description of the item he is based on. She found him on Friday the 13th, near or close to 13th Avenue. Or rather, he found her. She was chasing down a very strong suspect for a 'simple' case (your typical 'robbery gone wrong', where someone was murdered accidentally, kind of a 'slow day' at the agency), and she was on her own, as her partner for that day was checking the alleys in another area (though he was close, just not that close). She bumped into the suspect, kind of like how Shaggy and Scooby are always bumping into the monster as soon as they split from the gang; she chases the suspect down a few streets/blocks, and then she loses the suspect when he turned a corner. In front of her were three different areas/paths the suspect could have ran to. She chose a random one, which happened to be the correct one. It was pretty dark and it was eerily creepy/quiet in the area as well, kind of abandoned almost. She had stopped at some point to listen, not knowing the suspect was sneaking up behind her with a crowbar in hand to knock her out or worse (their full intentions are unknown). At that exact moment, Lucky, at the time a unnamed black alley cat, jumped out screeching/'growling' from the dark and scratched the suspect pretty bad in the face, and then Z took the suspect down. The cat received a injury, not serious or really damaging, in the process. She called medics etc. as procedure (the suspect was scratched badly enough to warrant it). The cat injuries were also looked into (his injuries were not too serious, so a vet was not really required).
- Z was grateful that the cat saved her, and she asked the cat, as he did not seem like he was a 'dumb animal', if he wanted to come with her home? The cat, at least to her, looked like he was thinking about it, before he agreed to go with her. Z took care of him for the next few days, bringing him to vets etc. for check-ups etc. He still wasn't named, as any names she tried to give him, he would not respond (in fact, she was sure he would look at her as if she was crazy). Finally she had a thought, she found it ironic almost, that black cats are considered 'bad luck', yet he was 'good luck' for her in that case. She then named him Lucky, and he responded to this name well. Hence the name and how they met (at least for now, this could change).
- Lucky is not a 'dumb animal', there is intelligence there and she doesn't think it has anything to do with her being a elf either, as he seems to understand terms and topics being discussed in the office/agency, which is correct from my own perspective. Lucky stays home sometimes, and other time she may ask him to come for cases/to the base etc., although he seems to be there when 'needed' or 'least expected'. Lucky is not the type to stay in one place, AKA, at home unless Z tells him to stay home directly. Otherwise he will leave (to do what, nobody knows). I'm trying my best to not use Lucky as the type of companion that will get her out of 'jams' that could get her killed. He will be there, maybe, but not all of the time.
- She takes or 'tells' Lucky to go by her day job if it is a serious case and if she thinks the team needs him. She only takes him to her night job if she does not have a 'bodyguard' and/or feels uncomfortable that night (like someone is following her or something). She is mostly alone though in that case. She rarely takes him to her elven home, as she feels better if he stays at her 'human' home to protect it. Lucky is smart enough to feed himself when this occurs, and Z has made his food accessible to him (he will not eat whenever he wants to or overeats, not even in the beginning when she first brought him home).
- Here are a few other things you should know (small events etc.) concerning Lucky:
- Z once left a book open to the page she was reading at home, though she had to leave for work. When she returned, the page was not on from where she left off (it was at least 20% almost to the end of the book). She did not leave the window open nor had a fan on. Nothing in her home could have turned the pages. She suspects Lucky did it and believes he can read. Since then, she has left various books open for him in her home (while a significant amount of pages are turned, she doesn't have definite proof that he can read).
- Lucky is a loner, does not have a mate; not before he met Z or after (doesn't mean he does not have any kittens somewhere around the world though)
- The origins of Lucky, before he met Z, is unknown (did he always 'live' in the city, did he have a previous owner etc.)
- Lucky may be different from normal cats, but still has cat tendencies. Such as will still play with ball and yarn, eat fish etc. Although, with mice, he may/will not eat them or chase them unless they are a nuisance or directly bothering him. Otherwise, he will ignore them.
- Lucky does have a small dark sense of humor, which people will mistakenly think he is 'evil', or at least 'mischievous'.
Since she is a detective, doesn't that mean that she has a gun?
Why only the katana/sword as a weapon?
- She should carry a gun because she is a detective and it is a typical weapon one should have, especially for distance purposes, but I have not figured out where it would go/be. It could be attached to her hip, or the thigh/upper leg, but I wouldn't know what type of gun it'll be except the typical type. I chose the katana for a little more 'uniqueness' and it is her main weapon, while the gun is the male leader's main weapon. It shouldn't and isn't the only weapon she has (her bow and arrow are another and the 'black matter' one, even though she has them on for certain occasions and outfits). For story purposes, she can use/carry one.
Does the agency have a logo/slogan?
Do they, as in the team, carry the same badge type?
Where is Z's badge?
- Not at this time; There is no logo/slogan at this time. As for the badge, Z's badge is where the +- badge is, like shown in this image, left side on her chest. Since I am a 'big' fan of technology, when she presses the '+' sign, it will show a hologram-like projection of her Investigator ID, with her picture and all (address is of the agency, not her home address), along with her badge and credentials. The badge is specially made for their agency, meaning others having it are slim to none, and others cannot use it (it's fingerprint specific and made only for the individual to use). Additional identification information can be added to it, which has to be done at the agency on the computer by their robot team member. Pressing the '-' sign will retract the information again. And yes, all of the team members have one, though they are different colors. Not all of them have it on their chest like Z does. Others may have it tucked into their wallet, in their pocket, pinned elsewhere etc. As a bonus, it can be used like a communicator/phone. If one holds down on the '+' sign, it will make a static noise, letting the individual know it is on, they say who they want to connect to ('Connect to [Insert Team Member's Name Here]'), they patiently wait for the other to acknowledge their call (on the other end, they hear a small ping, 3x. They have to press the '+' sign to answer it), and then they can communicate with one another. It also acts as a locator/location device, just in case the team separates and they need to find each other. To use that option, it is the same procedures as talking with another, except the person says 'Find [Insert Team Member's Name Here]'. The hologram portion will activate and will display a small, but easily visible, red arrow to follow. The closer they are to the other person, the color changes (yellow for getting closer, and green for really close, at least a few feet from them). The locator will turn off automatically when the other team mate is visible (the hologram turns into a scanner and scans the individual's body to make sure they are really there). Pressing the '-' sign can also turn it off. The communicator acts like a cell phone, meaning it can have interference issues etc. And no, they cannot play apps/games on it.
- Concerning her magnify glass, which is just as important as her badge and mostly essential to the job, please check her Charahub profile, under 'Biography' and 'Extra', second paragraph for more info about it.
Z seems to have 3 'jobs', how does she have time to do them all?
- I would like to make it clear that even though she is an elf, it does not mean that she does not suffer from fatigue, mentally or physically. She can become exhausted like any normal/human being. As I wrote under the question 'What is her day like', she will only attend her night job if it was a 'boring' or 'slow' day at the agency. If it involves a serious case, she will not attend her night job at all, unless the case is stressing her out so much that she would do it anyway to relax. Her main job will always be her detective job, her night job is more of a enjoyment since she does like to dance. As for her patrolling volunteer work, she will not be able to do her detective job at all, as she would be at her elf home/area, being too far away from the city/town. She is only able to do this volunteer work if she is on vacation or visiting her elf home friends/family etc. It is possible for her to do her night 'job', but she does it more as entertainment for others. Let's just go with the cliche that elves are great dancers etc., well, she does that at home too, only when she feels like it though.
